One of the things I love about what I do is the travel – although sometimes the travel comes at somewhat awkward times. After being in workshops in-person in Toronto on Monday and Tuesday, I flew out to Vancouver Tuesday night for some client meetings.
Based on what I can only assume to be luck, I was upgraded to “Porter Reserve.” The bonus was a meal! While Porter’s meals aren’t gigantic, they have some good options. With a 10:45PM EST departure time, I decided on something light and opted for the cheese and fruit.

The next photo is from the flight out west, showing a lights in the Elk Valley of BC in the foreground, and Calgary in the upper right. I was quite surprised with how clear and how bright Calgary was from this far away.

When in Vancouver I always stop by Honolulu Coffee nearby the head office. The baked goods are excellent, as is the coffee (of course!). The space is quite warm with lovely murals and artwork on the walls.

After a successful couple of days, I headed back home on a redeye Thursday evening. I left at 10:00PM Pacific and landed back in Toronto about 5:30AM Eastern. Here we are over Vancouver on the way home. The ski hills illuminated and YVR in the lower left.

This morning we had the photographer come through the condo for listing. By next week it’ll be on the market. Kayla was around for the staging and furniture moving while I was gone and dealt with it like a champ. Later this afternoon, my mother will arrive on the train from Stratford to spend the weekend. After a busy week, I’m hoping to have some time to relax soon.
