A week after flying back from Ontario, I was headed right back out for the second wedding of September. We departed on time, and had a high cloud ceiling leaving town, so I got a great view of Grey Mountain and Chadburn Lake on the way out.

For the first time, I had clear skies over most of the Mackenzies, and they did not disappoint!

Eventually, we hit its namesake river:

Once we got to Yellowknife, it clouded over for the rest of the flight. In addition to the snack box in the first segment, I had a shepherd’s pie on the second leg (I think? It’s been a while).
