I had a quick work trip up to Dawson City for an in-person meeting in between trips back to Ontario for weddings. This’ll be a short post with some of the best pictures, as I didn’t get up to too much outside of working!
The first picture is of the Whitehorse Dam from the plane:

Most of the flight in was cloudy, so no photos the rest of the way, or of Dawson. My colleague and I were picked up at the airport by the shuttle, which took us to our hotel at the Midnight Sun in downtown Dawson. The room was nice and clean, roomy, and with a comfortable bed. I’d definitely stay here again.

The sun was out on the 18th with gorgeous blue skies and late fall colours. The view from my window was quite fun:

After a day of meetings, I went out for a walk around town. Dawson City is one of my favourite places on the planet. It has such character and an unmistakable feeling. Here’s a picture from my walk looking north towards the Moosehide Slide.

To end the evening after supper, I went to Gerties (no photos, though!). The flight home was cloudy, so again, no photos.
