I love the places my job takes me, especially when that includes Dawson City! I’ll mostly use this post as an excuse to post some photos.
Up first is an early morning photo of the Moosehide Slide. The sun is shy behind the mountains (and the dome) for Dawson summer mornings. The light comes in blue.
I enjoy walks down along the river. Later in the morning, the sun hits the mountains and Sunnydale beautifully!
While Dawson attracts many tourists, it still never feels overrun to me. It still has space and some level of quietness, unlike towns like Skagway which receive heavy cruise traffic. For example, here is midday in downtown Dawson City,
